Major roadwork’s were needed to realign the existing main airport exit road and to accommodate the change from a two lane to a four lane carriageway. This work also involved the building and integrating of a 0.5km dedicated Terminal 2 exit road.
A great amount of planning, phasing and temporary traffic management was necessary to ensure that traffic was kept flowing at all times during the works.
